Played the first one. And the second one. Never completed them both. The series does have a unique level that is 4-4 (The Burnifier! from Tumblebugs 2), but still feels too Zuma for Zuma's sake.

I played both 1 and 2. 2 has some good stuff here and there, like the ring system, instead of mostly relying on luck to get an extra life, and some of the powerups are cool, too. 1 is nothing out of the ordinary, what with the occasional level when the bugs move faster, and some of the obstacles that negate shots are placed inconveniently, but it's still fun anyway.

I've played both, and they're great. I like to dig into their "Tumblebugs.xml" files (which are very easy to find), and re-ordering and re-naming the levels.

I had played both games as a kid. I think I'm one of the weirdos who wound up enjoying the 1st game more now. It has more charm to the levels, and it's pretty easy to abuse the Fast Forward powerup that they took out of the sequel to net a quick score bonus.

It's sort of hard to explain how to mess with Tumblebugs games in the Tumblebugs.xml file because there's so much you can do. I have a video recorded that I need to upload that explains all the things you can do with Tumblebugs in as much detail as possible, but all you need to do to get to the .xml files is right-click your "Tumblebugs.exe" or "Tumblebugs 2.exe" go to "Properties", then "Open File Location" then go to the folder called "Media" in Tumblebugs 1, or "MediaForeign" in Tumblebugs 2, a Tumblebugs.xml file should be in there. For Tumblebugs 1, you'll need to scroll down a bit, but for Tumblebugs 2 it should just be visible instantly.
