The mod is my attempt to create the best Luxor experience as possible. My main focus is gameplay: scarab trains are shorter, but they come more often any move at higher speeds, the slow factor in the danger zone has been reduced. This is to bring the gameplay out of the danger zone on harder levels. The mod starts out easy, with three sphere colors. Each stage has six levels: first level of a stage features a map dedicated to one of Egyptian gods (or other characters related to ancient Egypt). The sixth map features Zuma gameplay: single, very long train of spheres, quite difficult too. Mod can be played both by beginners and pros. The first stages are short, so that you don't get bored with the easiness. The second part of Luxor The Wrath of Set will be made for Luxor Amun Rising. I hope you enjoy playing. Or maybe you installed the mod on Luxor: Amun Rising, Luxor mod didn't works on Amun Rising, that could be the problem, if you have the latest version.

Hahah I didn't lose any lives yet. 8-6 was the closest though. The Zuma (X-6) sections are pretty weird though, they do seem like they would be tough but it's actually all endurance. The more chains you quickkill in the beginning to keep them from heading forward the better. Sometimes even when they are near the pyramid or far in, with correct chains/powerups (especially Color Bomb lol) they can retract all the way to the beginning. I was I can describe it. It happened to me in 5-6, 7-6 and 8-6. I could send GIFs if I have time to make them (I recorded everything) I dunno, so far I find them fair (but I'm only to Stage 9 so lol)

I had 1.01 version. It was a glitch with profiles. I had 13th stage, but there are only 12. I use 1.0.5.34 S. I found it in an hour.

9-6 could be a bit tricky,with spheres coming out nonstop with a ard to reach dangerzone Funny, my first thought with Stage 9-6 was OH GOD NOT KHUFU'S REVENGE. I mean, being a continuous segment, the bottom line blocks the danger zone completely. But then I realised that it's closer to Zumaic Exodus with the beginning path blocks the ending path gimmick. The long horizontal bottom line is the only viable place to shoot during the whole level (bar gap shots), so it's basically the same strategy as those Zuma Revenge levels: setup your chain/combos there. Became easier and one of my more favourite levels once I realised that. By the way, Bobik , I would like to bring up a minor bug about the redesigned Riddle of The Sphinx (in 9-1 and 9-6 so far) I noticed when playing... The pyramid seems to be on a different layer and overlaps the playfield. Coins, scores, and powerups phase right through it. (haven't tried seeing what happens if the scarab makes it to the end) The pyramid doesn't fade in or out at the start or end of the stage too. And most amusingly, it stays on the map screen! xD Going to the next level fixes it though. (the pyramid disappeared the moment I entered 9-2 and 10-1 respectively) Potential candidate for revision v1.03 fix? Made it past Stage 11 (11-2 was a tad tricky) and game's still going strong. Difficulty started ramping up from Stage 10, heh. I've got work this next week but I'll see if I can spot any more errors or play any more.

To be honest it wasn't that obvious at first, the first time at 9-1 I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me, but it repeated in 9-6 and was more obvious there. So far it's fine. I had close calls with 7-6, 8-2, 8-6 (haven't tried 8-6 with v1.02), 9-4 (first line merge), 10-3, 10-6, and 11-2 (ALL of the line merge). Those stages the spheres almost made it in the pyramid and I had to concentrate. Some levels are just meant to be harder I guess, I guess it's weird but it's inevitable I suppose. Even the original game had breather levels after hard ones. It's unique seeing a different play style with this mod. The shorter line segments means the scarab chains are easier to finish off, but if they make it far in and new segments enter than you need to concentrate because of the rate new segments enter. I once had 4 segments on screen at the same time, because they are much shorter, which probably won't happen in the original. It's also nice to see levels like Queen of Denial, Horus Hawk Ascending and Oasis of The West be a bit challenging because the new line enters in much quicker than normal. So far it's balanced. Haven't died yet but many close calls near to Level 12. Of course, it'll probably ramp up closer to like Challenge of Horus by the final stage at this rate considering it's just the halfway point.

Yes, the difficulty level will increase a lot, but there will also be an option of skill level selection in Luxor AR so most people will be able to finish it at least on beginner, I think. Well, problems may come when they reach some nasty levels, like Khufu's Revenge and Invasion of the Hyksos! By the way, I just played Khufu's Revenge w/ Zuma gameplay. And it is purely HORRID! Mwahahahahahahahahaha! *hiccups*

Confession: I almost didn't see that typo in the ending screen, it wasn't the most obvious thing in the world. I made it to stage 12 so far. I almost beat the game. Yeah Stage 12-6 the final stage of the first part. Caught me by surprise (was expecting maybe 13) but the high score level being 12-6 kinda gives it away.
