Nice maps! I've just finished my sixth map (Sneferu one), how many should I make before I post them? (planning about 10-15 max) Just put it to at least 4-5 at a time Maki. So rather make it chill. Also thanks!

I agree, that would take me a lot of time (considering school), so I'll try to make it last no longer than month before finishing them. So, let's say 10 is my goal.

You got to be kidding me! I CAN'T QUICKKILL. Making it hard/pure not being able to fireball/lightning quickkill has been a thing in many maps. And especially challenge mods like Control The Infinite. It's a 50-50 kinda thing. It's fun to use in my opinion, but even official games such as Luxor 3 (so easy it doesn't matter) patched the quickkill trick. In the end, it's IS an exploit and anyone can choose whether to fix it for their map or not.

Quickkilling a segment is when you use either a fireball or lightning ball powerup to destroy the incoming sphere train due to it hitting all the spheres in the spawn area. Can only be down in Luxor 1/Amun Rising for both, patched fireball mostly in Luxor 2, and cant do it in 3/QFTA. Usually you aim at: Horizontal starting zone: aim at the starting point leftmost/rightmost area of the screen and fire: fireballs are best, lightning ball only works if the spawn point is really close to the edge. Vertical starting zone/starting zone in the middle: Lightning ball at the y-coord of the spawn point. The fix is extremely simple. Have you spawn point coordinate be about 80-100 pixels off the screen, ie. x-starting point should be x<-100px or x>900px.

How quickkill happens? How to do it? And how to patch it on a map? I'm curious about all of these. Allow me to explain, basically the start of a sphere group all start at the same vertice, this means all 30 spheres and scarab are all stacked on top of eachother at the start of a path, this is why you can easily throw a lightning and zap all the spheres or blast them with a fireball It normally happens because you place the starting vertice to close to the edge of the screen so the Lightning/fireball can just clip them and destroy them To stop lightning from quick-killing sphere chains, place the start vertice 40+ Pixels off-screen As fireball has a larger radius than lightning you will need to place the start Vertice a little more pixels off screen, well I don't know how many exactly, but I just go with 100 pixels off screen just because it's easy to remember. Now for the stopping of quick kills on a sphere chain starting from the top of the screen, that's easy, just more effort, place the start vertice 40 pixels above the screen and 40 pixels to the left/right of the border of the screen, this was my trick to getting control the infinite to avoid quick killing sphere chains that started at the top of the screen
