Special thanks to Bobik for giving me this idea.
Konisbored presents: N.O.D.E - Nocturnal Owl Devertice Editor, the definitive Luxor path editor and creator program!
What is N.O.D.E?
N.O.D.E is short for Nocturnal Owl Devertice Editor. It is a Flash program that provides a custom workstation for simplifying the process of creating your own paths for Luxor, and more! This program is highly likely to be THE level creator and editor of choice for Luxor modding. (well it's the only one so far, so yeah...)
Marble poppers were a dying niche. They were popular in the 2000s but have all but died out with the turn of the decade. Interest in them has however been revived through the Sphere Matchers forums, whom decoded how the .obj path files work in Luxor, allowing it to be edited for custom paths. (I think the main reason is people wanted to try to make more challenging paths, COUGH CERTAIN MODS)
Hence, I tried dabbling into modding Luxor Amun Rising paths myself, namely for the Community Made Luxor Mod (thanks for the inspiration @azaes ) But along the way I realised that with the current method, it is extremely tedious to copy the node points one by one from GIMP/Paint/Photoshop to Notepad. (I blame you, The Scarabic Gamble)
But, me being lazy, I decided to streamline the process. While coding a reverse face-path app, I caught the attention of Bobik , whom suggested a full custom application for custom node tracking. (the quote above)
After chatting via PM the concept turned into the full fetched Luxor path creator you see today, N.O.D.E!
With the release of this program, custom paths will be much less time consuming to make, which will hopefully make the process of path modding less daunting, which means more people will get into the marble popper modding community, and possibly revitalise the genre through fan level mods. And I'm glad to see that that is indeed the case!

Nocturnal Owl Devertice Editor is brought to you by Cowlppy, the great Konisbored, potatoes, Kirby, SM-Tato, coffee, some community mod, our glorious king Bobik, Pikku-Orava, Kappa, milk, and laziness.
Speaking of coding, it would be a lot more helpful to code an application for automatic node tracking. I mean: you get a 800x600px workstation, you load map background to it, you click the nodes and with every click their location is being saved to the vertex list. That would be EXTREMELY helpful in the path creating process (but I don't know how good your coding skills are, could you make sth like this, konisbored ?).
