Only 3 days left before N.O.D.E version 1.2 is released! N.O.D.E will move out of beta, excited yet? You should be, and to celebrate, like I said a few posts ago, I will be advertising some N.O.D.E mods in the program itself, free of charge! And our lucky mod-advert winners are: 1) Cowlppy and The Luxor Scepter by konisbored . Shocker. Bow down to the logger owl. 2) Galactic Space Journey by Bobik . It's only right to advertise this awesomeness. In case you're wondering which of these brutal maps were N.O.D.E created, the Readme HTML page says them. Or if you're REALLY lazy to check... Secret map , Messy Bedroom, Midnight Queen, Spiralic Exodus, Within Soul. 3) Luxor Breakquest Mod by Mome Bas . I was there when you made that thread, keep at it! 4) Florida Of Miami by mruknownerbrian . Let's hope it's not too hard... 5) Community Made Luxor Mod by @azaes & the entire Sphere Matchers forums. Keep at it people, surely more people can submit their user-made maps? SM-Tato would be glad! For those whom want to make a level but not a full mod commitment, seize your chance! 6) Not Another Luxor by 剣と盾 . BTW, I envy you and @azaes 's Photoshop skills. Also, I wouldn't have 1/20th of the patience you had in making stupidly exact vertices to make curved paths the old way. Glad to see even you switched over to the glorious lazy method. 7) Luxlantis by @azaes . GSJ ripoff. A crossover between Atlantis and Luxor, let the deep, dark ocean get some love too! Screenshots of the Instructions Advert Pages: Hopefully there are no problems with their portrayal. Clicking the image hotlinks to the respective forum thread on SM. Once again, if you made/are making a mod with N.O.D.E, please do say so somewhere in your forum thread so I can add a short advert blurp in the next release. I've compiled v1.2, so unfortunately I won't add it in immediately, showcases have been cutoff. Besides that, reminder that N.O.D.E version 1.2 shall be released this Saturday, 10 September. I'll add a section on it, but unfortunately not in v1.2 since I've compiled it and am feature freezing to test for any bugs before releasing. I'll add this mod in the next release after v1.2

If you don't get annoyed by it, you'll get annoyed by the song restarting every time N.O.D.E tries to switch music tracks. Are you up for it?

Here it is, the moment of truth and despair! N.O.D.E v1.2 has come to this world, out of beta and in the realm of stable releases! What's new in v1.2? - Beta visible vertice support. (the latest vertice added is visible) - Tunnel/Hidden Path Support: Switch Vertice Visibility. - Map.ui Output: Pyramid Placer/Node=HIDDEN Generator. - Delete a specific vertice point. - Unload Background from workstation. (switch BG visibility) - Customize/Shuffle Music Tracklist in Options. PLAY YOUR CHOICE OF MUSICCC. - Custom username. - SHUT UP COWLPPY/Clear Logger Text. - There are now a whopping 39 tracks (triple that of the previous version v1.1) in the Jukebox (for use with the Audio Track Customisation), ranging from Kirby (like you expected anything else from me, the Kirby nutcase) to Tumblebugs (actually Tumblebugs 2), and even Zuma's Revenge. (guess which track). - 24 pages of instructions, of which 4 pages are sellouts. - minor bugfixes and other stuff the average end-user does not care about. - I'm pretty sure there is more than 1000 lines of code now. Maybe closer to 1250? Lost count. Quite the feature list, huh? Also, before I get ANY complains on this, I'm gonna say it here: N.O.D.E can only hide the nodes using the map.ui NODE=HIDDEN function (part 1), in other words you NEED TO MAKE THE alpha.tga file (part 2) yourself to hide the actual spheres behind tunnels. Don't come screaming to me "KONIISSSSSS THE PATH HIDING DOESNT WORK YOU SUXXX".And to the people whom accepted the Pikku-Orava challenge, when you get bored of that, try the Wild Ball challenge, where you got to the Options and hit the Wild Ball every time you turn on N.O.D.E and N.O.D.E will auto-randomise the music tracks...no matter how unfitting it is. May the random number generator be on your side. Trailer for v1.2, which I recommend you watch, showing off many of the cool stuff you can do with this version in 3-4 minutes. And you've waited long enough. Here, my early birthday present. I know this because I made about three-quarters of my Cowlppy mod with v1.2 of N.O.D.E (yay for having v1.2 for far longer than any of you. Muhahaha. ) So...since v1.2 is not perfect, but good enough...I will be taking a break from N.O.D.E... *SADAIRHORN.MP3* For how long...who knows? My final semester of polytechnic is up, so my priority then will be on coding my final year project, so sadly I may not get back to working on N.O.D.E until I dunno, next year. I want to rush releasing Cowlppy & The Luxor Scepter before my semester starts in October, so unfortunately N.O.D.E will be forced to take a backseat. (so in order words blame Cowlppy) However, this thread won't be abandoned! I'll still respond to feedback and give status updates! Don't despair, as I said, I've proven that v1.2 is enough to tide you through creating a mod, and I will work on N.O.D.E Stable Release v2.0 in the future...

Dear konisbored! I like ur NODE, but there is one glitch: the map.ui creeator: 1. Shows only tunnel and nodes part 2. The nodes are always "1", but i need the "0" to make workin' path! Please fix the 2nd part (the 1st can wait lol)

Please fix the 2nd part (the 1st can wait lol) It should always be preset to 0 lol, right....? Anyway, at the bottom left corner, there's a Luxor 3 Scarab, click it to switch between Node = 0 and Node = 1. I don't think N.O.D.E can preset or generate anything else in map.ui...the rest are generic level name and stuff.

If so, right click it, if it says Movie Not Loaded, then well N.O.D.E's loading...yeah, it's pretty big. So wait, I guess, disable/enable ActiveX, the usual Flash troubleshoot. 2nd off, I really want to know what's off with the .exe file importing problem. No one else has this problem. Things I can think of: 1) Your computer directory has weird symbols (ie. somechinesename/N.O.D.E1.2.jpg) so it cannot get the path. 2) Right click and allow local storage. 3) Compatibility mode? 4) You didn't delete or move any files out of the folder right? Nocturnal Owl Devertice Editor.swf should be in, that's what is being loaded. 5) Get Shockwave Player and just run the .swf file instead of using the .html file. I have no idea otherwise, it works fine on my end so it's something off on your end.

For the exe file importing problem, it might be caused by weird symbols in the destination, that are in Hungarian, but not in English, such as á and é. Are these weird symbols?
