Hello Sphere Matchians~ It has certainly been a while since I posted a teaser or something for this mod. The progress is actually going quite well so far. I still have to polish some levels and do the different modes, but other than that, I'm almost finished. Though I said that back in August, and here I am
So, to make this teaser last for a while, here is the finished Main Menu screen of the mod whoop whoop (Just so you're aware, there is actually one spoiler cropped out of the screen for spoiler purposes)
If you have eyes, you'll see something new coming to the mod, I'm not going to say what it is. Hope that answers your question.
By the way, the account "BombieDommies" is the profile I've been using ever since I started making the mod and that rank, "Lava Sheep, Metal Forger" is what Luxor 2 would call "Administrator of the King" in the Vizier rank, which is the rank you get for surpassing 200,000,000 points overall. I would like you to edit the tutorial, loading, scorecard, Stage_map and Stage_map in Coh mode again.

If I were to make a mod of Luxor 2 with a storyline, I would use storyline scripting from Neopets Codestone Quest since that game uses the same scripting as Luxor 2.

Thanks As for the storyline idea... Good luck with that. Neopets Codestone Quest and Myth Match for that matter are modified versions of Luxor 2, they don't have the exact same scripts, so it's unlikely you can add a storyline in that way. But if you want to try, go ahead.

For first quote, I would try doing it. I know the story scripts are in some sort of Microsoft Excel-type of file. If you'd excuse me for the second quote, Quang really typed something that was off-topic that refers to how I did with the menu on Discord.

A question : How do you think make the difficulty not like expert mode of the OG Luxor 2 but trying to be balanced to experimented and beginner players ?

A question : How do you think make the difficulty not like expert mode of the OG Luxor 2 but trying to be balanced to experimented and beginner players ? How do you think I can make the difficulty good for expert players? DRtPIaB Expert Mode is NOT for beginners at all. Beginners should start with Easy and make their way through the difficulties since Luxor 2 has the “continue onto the next skill level” thing, which carries over score and lives, which is a one up for them However, there are consequences with playing on easy, like how you need 50 coins to get a life on easy, 40 on Normal, 30 on Expert, and 20 on the CoH Also, unlike deftsp and diotms, but like CTI2, the game will start off easy and get harder as you progress The COH mode can only be obtained after beating expert (and anyone who tries cheat will be on my death list forever), and naturally you can expect the COH to definitely not be for beginners

There's a setting in the difficulty.gvf which is capable of taking speed away from a level every time you lose. Easy will definately have some degree of slow down after loss, and Normal might as well.
Expert... No, pshh I'm doing a test run on expert and then the coh without making any deliberate waste shots. Kinda like a 100% accuracy run only more lenient aka allowing accidental mistakes. It's actually a really fun challenge... to me. Except that time I died on Luscious Plains pretty much at the end of the level, there was one train and 4 singles. I got such bad colour algorithm that it decided to have me match all the singles first, but since I couldn't waste shot, that wasn't possible, and I died.
When I release the mod. Whenever that will be... I'm planning on giving out a set of challenges to make the game harder, and also make some achievements of my own, some based on the challenges.
I rambled on a bit there didn't I lol

Wow... I didn't even know that. Even when I played Luxor 2 when I was younger and was such a casual noob at Sphere Matching, I couldn't even get past Stage 10 on Easy due to Wallow of the Hippo God and the Scarabic Dawn wrecking me pretty hard! And I only got to Stage 10-7 once with only one life left... However, my skill has improved over the years, and eventually I would get my complete and UTTER revenge on the Easy difficulty once and for all! But THIS time, I will use custom assets! BTW this reminds me of the Amulet of Ease from Sparkle, capable of slightly lowering the difficulty of the current level you're on each time you fail it. There is also a little typo you made in your post.

I would rather stick with just 30 coins for a life on any difficulty and the supreme Challenge of Horus mode if I made a Luxor 2 mod. In fact, I do not really need a CoH mode at all; I would rather use an INSANE difficulty level instead.
