There's a helpful bug with the lightning balls in Luxor. If you use a lightning ball (or a fireball) on incoming spheres, all spheres that haven't emerged yet will be destroyed (often you'll be able to destroy whole train of spheres). This works in Luxor, Luxor AR and Luxor 2.

This works in Luxor, Luxor AR and Luxor 2. I tried doing that but it did not work for the first time. You need to unleash the lightning just at the spot where the spheres come from. However, it doesn't work in some (few) levels, including Khufu's Revenge.

I used that glitch in Luxor HD and it did work, I managed to obliterate 4 scarabs in The Wrath of Set

This works in Luxor, Luxor AR and Luxor 2. Can verify this works. So useful on Amun Rising's vertical starting levels. In fact, for fireballs, if you wait a little, within a specific timeframe it won't destroy all the spheres, leaving just a few behind, which makes it easier to manages segments closer to the pyramid since you don't have to worry about the new segment of scarabs at all.
