Sparkle (the original)
The Fireflies spawned by the Fireflies powerup aren't fireflies. Just butterflies.
On your path to The Dark Vortex, the level order is decided by when you first played a level. I felt this wrath on my second Master playthrough with Day 91 - Liquid Rails.
The maximum amount of days is 92.
Your days can randomly increase, for seemingly no reason.
There are only 12 Secrets. The least gotten one is #3, as it requires you to press a Lock a lot of times. On mobile editions, where profiles don't exist, this is permanently locked until you uninstall Sparkle.
Always take Tower last. The tower has the easiest level (Melting Rock), and doesn't allow later levels like Sunset Bound or Waterfront Barricade to enter when you go to the Vortex.
Fire Spinner, Fire Bolt, and Fireflies can break your chain.
Completing Master has different Ending text, one which doesn't speak about the darkness' return.
Mobile versions are much easier than the PC counterpart, with the destruction of the Accuracy Powerup.
GLITCHES
Technically the Fire Bolt, Fire Spinner, and Fireflies counts as a glitch.
So does the Days.
If you manage to manipulate the game state to take you to the map when you're viewing a landmark; you can go to the Vortex without The Sun.
Fireflies also disappear if they go slightly off the screen.
You can encounter an adventure-ending bug where the game does not properly show the 'Try Again' screen after losing a level. This is very rare.
Sparkle 2
Sparkle 2 can have up to 92 days as well, but there really is no 92nd day. No level is created after Mysterious Portal on Day 91. Go play some Survival or Challenge, will you.
There are only, in theory, 8 different ways to go about Sparkle 2.
This game introduced Orb of Decay, and Spark Shot. It also fixed some of the chain-breaking glitches and changed some names.
Earth Blood Well, Treacherous Pit, and Mysterious Portal are the only levels you can only win once.
Click the light on the Tower, and tell me what screen you get.
More Mobile discrepancy: No Nightmare or Hard mode for Mobile Players. RUDE.
Note: This actually comes from someone who is only playing the MOBILE versions of these games. You can buy this on Steam too! For 3 more dollars than Mobile! OK now it isn't such a value. Actually, only the second one.
