Well, you don't occur those problems in your custom levels because you can do paths straight without a mistake. But when it comes to path errors, people try to edit those and you know what? The game crashes. So here is 1 annoying thing about path.obj files.
Whenever you edit a path, your game crashes everytime because of this:
# Vertices: 10 If your path is 11 vertices, your game crashes because it responds to this. The thing about # is that it instructs the computer to not read it. But one rule about path.obj files is that you need to indentify it's properties. So the computer rejects # because of that rule. That's why this is one annoying problem. The solution is to fix its properties.
stage_select.uis is not the source of madness.

I rather worked it out, the vertices portion is defined as a Lightwave File "paths.lwo", which is immediately called as an object by "o paths.lwo". This bypasses the typical comment system of .obj files. Too many vertices compared to the path list and the game crashes. Too few and the path goes haywire. Luckily all this nonsense about counting the exact number of vertices when editing can be easily fixed by reimporting and re-exporting the path out of N.O.D.E. Or just counting the new number yourself. The real annoying part of path.obj files is people still using too few vertices and causing rolling glitches. Please.

Nope. This is basically the guideline object, the actual guideline path used by the game. It used to cause problems when people had to manually count the vertices and path list, but with N.O.D.E auto-generating everything it should never cause any problems now unless you deliberately mess with the file after.

Level i was trying to make...crashes on running game path.obj looks perfectly fine. Probably one of the other files. Maybe map.ui?
