My most favourite is Hypostyle Hall from Luxor 2 HD so much so that I try to redesign the Luxor Amun Rising HD levels with that design in mind.

My most favourite is Hypostyle Hall from Luxor 2 HD so much so that I try to redesign the Luxor Amun Rising HD levels with that design in mind. I don't have Luxor 2 HD but this version of Hypostyle Hall looks a lot better than the original (despite the fact that is isn't a real hypostyle hall, it looks rather like a tomb chamber). The designers did a really great job on this one but some other designs (from Luxor HD and Amun Rising HD) were a bit disappointing, they could pay a bit more attention to levels like Pillar of Osiris, Oasis of the East or Narmer Palette.

The designers did a really great job on this one but some other designs (from Luxor HD and Amun Rising HD) were a bit disappointing, they could pay a bit more attention to levels like Pillar of Osiris, Oasis of the East or Narmer Palette. For Pillar Of Osiris, this is my response: top-agent-pgg-jr.deviantart.com/art/The-Pillar-Of-Osiris-478252678I am the one who designed it. My apologies for using my camera for taking the paper drawing as I am unable to scan the drawing. I still have the drawing though. For Path Of The Golden Goddess, I have a brand new design: top-agent-pgg-jr.deviantart.com/art/Path-Of-The-Golden-Goddess-478246083Wow, they're impressive! Now I want to play them . Path of the Golden Goddess looks nice both for track design and visual aspects, although I wouldn't keep the background image from Luxor HD (it's called path of the Golden Goddess, not silver) and I don't know what god do you want to place on the pedestals, since there wasn't any Golden Goddess in ancient Egypt, the developers just made it up. Maybe it could be Isis on the pedestals and the level would be called Isis Knot (although it would be the third level of this name , even though this name would fit this level better than Isis Knot from Luxor Amun Rising where the path doesn't resemble a knot at all). And for the path design itself, if a level like this existed, it would need to be in Luxor 2, because this is the only game that allows to "teleport" spheres from one point to another. In other games it is impossible or the spheres would have to go a long path underneath the level (like in Eastern Shores from Luxor QftA) which is very unwanted. The design of the Pillar of Osiris is amazing, the designers should take lessons from you instead of just placing a few jewels along the way and changing the lighting a little bit. One thing that I want to note is that the spheres won't be able to cross paths in the upper area of the level, as there isn't any tunnel in there. They would just need to go straight down without crossing. I also took a look at the rest of your designs and they're very impressive as well. I would imagine Inner Sanctum of the Temple as a dark underground room with items used for some forbidden religious practices. Your design on this one is great but I would remove that marble cover anyway. It's kind of annoying rather than helpful. The Treasure City of Rameses shows the wealth of the city as you can see on the pictures with decorative vases, treasure chests and jewels. It doesn't show the city itself, though, while your design does. I prefer your version but there are some things needed in the design to enhance to feeling of the city being greatly rich as opposed to Village on the Nile which is just some poor town located near the river. I'm not very fond on the Khufu's Revenge design. In my opinion, it should be dark as it's a level about war and battle. I don't think that taking the path on another wall is a good idea in terms of gameplay. I would completely redesign this level because the pyramid in the middle isn't a good idea at all. By the way, I also made some level designs of my own. Maybe we should open a new thread for this topic?

The reason for the Path Of The Golden Goddess resign is because I designed this with the background style of Luxor 2 HD right from the start instead of merely design it in Luxor style then redesigning it in HD style. To solve the problem you mentioned in Pillar Of Osiris, I propose a tunnel style seen in Aten At Them from Luxor Quest For The Afterlife (below). The reason why Inner Sanctum Of The Temple has the marble cover is because the HD version of this level has a cover at that location (below). For Khufu's Revenge, I tried to design this along the lines of a battlefield. However, it proved too complicated. Finally, we can form a new thread for new Luxor series designs.

To add on the above post due to the lack of space to place more attachments, I like the redesign of Balance of Maat in Luxor 2 HD. The left picture is from Luxor 2 and the right picture is from Luxor 2 HD. The background looks wery nice but you can't see the path But if the path was visible the level didn't look so good.

Actually, I was thinking of redesigning Altar of Tlaloc with the second design of Balance of Ma'at for the next release of ZumaLuxor. What do you think about it?

I liked Bathing In The Sacred Pool, Balance of Maat, and Temple of Set, they were cool levels to me. But if i had to choose one, then it would be Bathing In The Sacred Pool. I like it's design.

Temple of Hatshepsut - a very simple yet elegant design where the path and the background end up combining really well. (I love it when designs and paths complement each other, like in Cobraic Twilight, Eye of Horus, and Horus Hawk Ascending!) Becomes one of the most difficult levels later on, and it's one of the most memorable paths from Luxor for me.
Balance of Ma'at - has one of the best HD designs of all the 75 maps. One of the only 2-2 levels to have a completely asymmetric design besides Crossing the Reed Sea, this level has a really nice, fun gimmick the paths spiral around the center, and you have to either use the tunnel in the midlde or shooting through gaps in the lower path, so you can shoot to the upper path. It's also one of the harder maps. Both ToH and BoM are similar for me because my favorite levels always tend to the ones that strike the perfect balance between difficult and fun.
Temple of Set - Man, I really think the Luxor 2 map designers made a mistake by not utilizing the warp nodes more often. Usually the warp nodes were only used so that large unshootable parts of paths could be skipped (Headdress of the Goddess, and Weaving Egyptian Linen). But in this final level (and since it's the final level, it only happens once during a campaign), the designers went all out in using the warp nodes to really cause chaos and spread the spheres everywhere. This level really makes me think about the possibilities with warp nodes. Granted, I'm not sure about how the warp nodes work, and probably implementing them properly in a path would be extraordinarily difficult, so I understand why only ToS has crazy warp usage and none of the other levels.
Some honorable mentions where I might come back and describe why I like them so much if I'm not lazy: - Two Lands United - Scarabic Dawn - Honor of the Medjay - Lighting the Calcite Lamp
